On December 22, 2022, Rapiscan Holdings, Inc. acquired substantially all assets of VOTI Inc. and VOTI Detection Inc. through a bankruptcy process. In connection with this process, Rapiscan Holdings did not acquire any contractual or warranty obligations.
Rapiscan Systems, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rapiscan Holdings, will now be manufacturing VOTI systems and our global Rapiscan service organization will now be offering technical support services for VOTI products. VOTI had more than 3,500 fielded systems with highly satisfied customers. We fully believe that offering VOTI systems with the service experience and global footprint of Rapiscan Systems is a perfect fit.
While we endeavor to make this transition as smooth as possible, we realize that there will be challenges along the way but assure customers that we will attempt to minimize these issues as quickly as possible. Rapiscan Global Service enjoys a significant global reach with more than 350 service professionals which strives to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
